Discipleship is infused into every aspect of our curriculum and four pilars of Faith, Family, Focus, and Fun.

Every day begins with the Pledge of Allegiance, scripture and prayer. As part of our faith and curriculum, each grade studies the bible every morning. Our NH staff studied and has made a committment to practice Teaching Redemptively by Donovan Graham. This is indicated and evidenced in our Teaching and Professional Learning Assessment Tool (TPLT). This covers teaching, learning and discipleship.

Students are taught to pray at lunch. Our holiday focus is the birth of Jesus and giving back to the community through “Amazing Grace”, and Operation Christmas Child. Our parents have organized a Parent’s Prayer group that meets once a month to pray for our students, families, and staff. Our 6th grade students take a yearly missions trip to Dallas TX. A motto for our Garden Day from George Washington Carver says

“Reading about nature is fine, but if a person walks in the woods and listens carefully, he can learn more than what is in books, for nature speaks with the voice of God.”
