Fun Friday: Nursery Rhyme Olympics

Our forest, usually a place of wonder for our students, turned into a playground where imagination ran free. The aim was to bring classic nursery rhymes to life through games and activities that sparked creativity and storytelling. On this Fun Friday, Senior Kindergarten students participated in the highly anticipated Nursery Rhyme Olympics!

Students participated in various activities, each game inspired by a beloved nursery rhyme. The Jack Be Nimble Candlestick Jump challenged their agility and coordination as they attempted to leap over imaginary candlesticks with grace and precision. The Humpty Dumpty relay tested their teamwork and speed as they worked together to carefully pass an egg-shaped object without letting it crack, and the Hickory Dickory Dock Clock Climb pushed their physical limits as they scaled a makeshift clock tower, mimicking the brave mouse's ascent.

With each game, the students not only had a blast but also gained a deeper understanding and appreciation for the nursery rhymes they had grown to love. It was a day that celebrated the joy of learning and imagination, proving that education can be both fun and enriching.
