New Hope Christian Academy seeks to honor Christ Jesus in every area of the school. For the Academy, the classroom is the child’s core community. New Hope classrooms are designed to cultivate dependable and challenging relationships that are reflective of God’s Vision for Christ’s community. The classroom is a place where students, through experience and example, grow to better understand not only God’s creation but also the One who created all things. Furthermore, New Hope classroom communities allow each student to see his or herself as being made in the image of God. Hence, each student’s learning through relationship is important in that it ultimately brings glory to God.
In light of this, New Hope encourages students to excel in their academic and community activities. New Hope students learn through student-centered instruction and discovery experiences that are applicable to God’s greater community. Students explore Creation through field trips and community service and pursue personal interests in after-school clubs and athletics.
