  • New Hope Christian Academy (NHCA) is an urban, college-preparatory elementary school providing students with a challenging intellectual and Christ-centered education.

  • We will ground our students in the knowledge of God as uniquely revealed in Jesus Christ and attested to in Scripture. Through teaching, hands-on learning, and Christ-centered discipleship, we will strive to equip each child with the necessary tools to pursue a college education and serve as God’s image-bearers.

    We will place a unique emphasis on the immediate community in which the school is located and develop long-lasting relationships with students, families, partner schools, and churches.

  • New Hope Christian Academy accepts students for admission in grades PK3 – 6th grade.

  • The admission process for new students begins with completing the application packet, financial aid request (if applicable), accompanied with the following: non-refundable $25 (application fee) and $35 (FACTS financial aid application fee).

    Limited spots are available. Please ensure all steps are followed to avoid any delays in your application process.

  • NHCA has a “June 1” cut-off date for entry into PK – SK (i.e. the applicant must be 3 years old before June 1, to enroll in PK; 4 years old for JK; and 5 years old for SK

  • Tuition is $12,750 per year not including uniforms, after-school care, or after-school activities.

  • NHCA is aware that covering the costs of a private school education can be challenging. Financial aid is available and is need-based.

    All families are required to complete the FACTS financial aid application process to determine how much financial aid will be granted.

  • Once the full application and financial aid submission are complete, the primary parent or guardian will be contacted to set a date for their child(ren) to be assessed through testing and observation, followed by a family screening.

  • Yes, NHCA does accept ESA vouchers. Please contact admissions@newhopememphis.org with ESA questions.
